Stuart Harrison

Stuart Harrison is an architect and communicator. He has written on design, architecture and urbanism, and is an expert on existing building and adaptive re-use projects. He is director of the award-winning architectural practice Harrison and White (HAW), based in Melbourne. He consults nationally on design review, procurement and strategy. He co-founded and co-hosted 'The Architects' radio show which ran on Melbourne 3RRR (2004-2014), and on ABC Radio National (RN). He has written three books, including New Suburban, for Thames & Hudson, which re-examined the suburban ideal in Australian and New Zealand housing. He has written for The Design Files, Architecture Australia, Architectural Review Asia-Pacific and Lonely Planet.
